Veterans
Joseph Collins, Jr. is dismayed, and heartbroken to see how the United States government has treated our veterans. As President he will rectify this situation and create a better life for veterans. We have a duty and obligation to take care of those who have served our country and risked their lives for us. Many struggle to find employment once they’ve returned home, due to lack of education and training, or because of physical injuries sustained while in battle. Furthermore, a sense of purposelessness and even self-esteem issues accompany the transition period away from military life.
Our nation’s security relies upon the immense contributions of our military service members. Every Armed Service brings its own unique strengths to the greater goal of national defense, whether that be the specialized equipment of the Navy, the courage and commitment of the Marines, or any of the other branches. The dedication both active duty and reserve servicemembers show to our Nation is unparalleled; their bravery enables us to have a strong, safe country. We owe these men and women a great deal for ensuring our safety and freedom.
